T has done more than expected of him yet was often left out in votes to
the all star games where the Wallaces and Billups shined a bit.
The guy never complained.

Prince is either a modest guy or simply gratful to be blessed in the
league and getting paid for doing something he loves.

He's playing well when in the games over there in China.

He needs to start taking a more demmanding role offensively if the
Pistons are going to challenge for a championship. His numbers need get
up around 18 and 8 if we can't sign Allen Iverson in a trade for
Chauncy.
Prince has that ability and one of the finest jump hooks (hard to
defend) since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Just my two cents.

I remember your 4 cents on "He can not shoot" and they should trade him...

The invention of basketball was not an
accident. It was developed to meet a
need. Those boys simply would not play

I never said Prince should be traded.

I said his shooting form is very suspect being that his elbow is never
in line with the hoop!

Oh? Why not?

Well I said 'trade him'...to portland. =)

" His shooting eye
failed yet again with that ridiculous form he utilizes and elbow
extended away from the target. He'll never be consistant with that. "

So why keep him?

I replied with stats at that time when you were whining over it:

Boy that is right.... he would never average say 48% on jumpers....46% FG,
43% on 3s for an
effective FGP of .510.... terrible...trade him to Portand....

Me:
I know the mechanics of of a horse going over a jump and I have never been a
horse jumping a fence
either...

There are quite a few players that do not have a traditional style that
average better than the ones
with more 'proper style.
Look at Shawn Marions shot... Bonzi's knuckleballs with no spin when he
shot 63% in last years playoffs...

they do not score BBall on style points....

Trade you for Webster, has a very pretty shot... you would love him...no
defense to interfer with your
preception either...

=========

How many of those pretty hook shots does he take per game compared to those
ugly jumpers?
Webster plays much better defense now but the offer I am sure is still good.
;-)

That is why they keep stats as averages. Add them up. You understand math?
Those are his averages this year.

And because they give more points for outside that cute little line Prince's
Effective FGP is 51%

If it leaves his hands and goes through that hoop thingy it counts no matter
how pretty it is.
....don't try to 'fix' it...this is not ice skating...

oddly the only stats you ever argued had value was webber's on a bad team

he didn't give you a jump shot?"
