I've been watching the Bengals since day one, and for years before that I
watched the "pre-Bengals", the Browns who were on TV every week (That was so
long ago that I was too young to drink the Carling's Black Label beer that
someone named Mabel told me to try, but Otto Graham could do exactly what
Coach Brown told him to try.)
Watching the Brown's was better. Paul Brown had them winning year after
year....
And that's the thing---WINNING!
After all those years I learned that what a player does ON THE FIELD is what
counts. If he can play, if he can break or make a tackle, block his man, or
in the case of Henry, catch a TD pass... or 2 or 3...get him in there.
OFF THE FIELD, he can do whatever he wants....just as long as he doesn't do
anything that interferes with his play (like not sleeping enough, or getting
a bad hangover).
The most important thing! He can't do anything that gets his dumb ***
suspended...
