If, purely hypthetically, the Cubs were to complete the regular
season as the top team in the National League, with the Central
runners-up as the Wild Card, I'd much rather the Cubs face the Dodgers
than the Diamondbacks in the divisional playoffs. Not only would
there be no Webb and Johnson to face, the attaction of Chicago/LA would
probably land every game of the series in prime time.

Nope. Rather face the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers are the second hottest team
in the NL behind the Cubs. They took 4 from Philly and 2/3 from the
Brewers. Besides I hate the Dodgers ever since they started overpaying for
talent that the Cubs wanted. Remember Furcal? We found a better solution
but that's not the point. I don't want to see the Dodgers in the playoffs.
Let em stay home.

You're forgetting Dan Haren for the Diamondbacks, who's great too.
