Are all WNBA teams afillliated with an NBA team. I was just wondering
because the Seattle Storm were part of the Sonics organization, and
after Gay Bennett bought the Sonics he sold the Storm to a local
(Seattle) investment group. Just wondering if the Storm will somehow
align with the Blazers, or are they holding out hope that someday
another NBA team will come to Seattle?

The Storm will not be affiliated with the Blazers.

Yeah, just wondered. I knew they wouldn't automatically be with the
Blazers. I was must wondering if it might happen, but I guess it
doesn't have to! Are there any other WNBA teams NOT part of an NBA
team?

The Connecticut Sun.
Not a fan of the WNBA, but did the 2 minutes of research for you on
WNBA.com. My fee is one case of beer.
Thank you for your prompt payment.
As for my personal opinion, I always thought it would be best for the WNBA
to branch out in cities that didn't have any sort of major league franchise,
but may have a large enough population and venue to support a second tier
professional franchise.
