I've read about the Spanish players posing and slanting their eyes. I
have no need so actually see it.

Will Stern do anything about this?
Should he?
I think a strongly worded statement at a press conference would be the
minimum.

I showed my wife the picture of the Spanish team with that pose (we're
both Chinese) last night and we had a pretty good laugh about it. I
think it's more hilarious that that the people who are making a big
deal about this aren't even the ones who are being "made fun of".

I think Howard Stern would find it funny.

The media (especially in North America) has taken political correctness to
beyond a reasonable level. The media search for stories like the Spanish
photo. No matter the circumstances the media will then exaggerate and
exploit it... praying that all the stupid and thin skinned people on this
planet get their backs up..

Oh wait... i can't say that.... grrrrrrrr

Ok, I'll accept that it's a non-story. As the American players
noted, people would have gone nuts here if they had done something
like this.

that's because the spanish players did it for the spanish market,
where no one even sees anything wrong with that gesture.
the american players would have done it for their own market, where
that would have been considered inappropiate.
