I see that the NBA regular season is starting a week earlier then usual,
as it usually starts the first week of November not the last week of
October. I did some internet searching, and see that the Celtics first
pre season game is October 8th. Something i'm not too thrilled about, as
it will coincide with the MLB playoffs. As the MLB playoffs are about to
begin, the NBA pre season is about to start. Which puts a damper in my
schedule for the month of October. Likely i got Tivo, so i can always
record one game and watch it later on.

Last 2 years and next fall they start with a couple of games on the last
Tues in Oct. on TNT

Main difference is the celts are one of the tuesday featured teams and last
tues moved up 2 days because of leap year..

This fall Tues the 28th with 2 games, a full schedule on Wed with 2 ESPN
games, and 2 TNT games on Thur (plus one)
Last year it was Tuesday the 30th with 3 games, a full schedule on Wed and 2
TNT games on Thur
Year before Tues. the 31st with 2 games, a full schedule on Wed Yadda
yadda.... =)

Before the tues games they started usually the Wed. of the first week in
Nov. even if the that was on the 30th or 31 of Oct.
3 years ago the season started on Wed Nov 1st. Also called trick or treat
at someone else's house...
