That was *anything* but an easy catch... how many RFers make it? Ichiro
can make that. (Cuddyer sure as heck can't.) It's a short list.

Well, I didn't think it was all that great until I saw the picture in
the paper this morning. I mean, Dick was sooooo excited on TV that I
thought Span had actually grown wings and was flopping around in the
bleachers with that catch.

Wow, you are a tough one... not only was the degree of difficulty off the
charts, but what it meant to the team -- keeping a 1-run lead from going to
a 1-run deficit, a BADLY needed lift for a team that had been getting
snakebitten for 2 straight games -- was enormous...

Gosh, you're the 2nd person to say that about me today. lol

Of course, I know what catching that ball meant, but gosh....from the
angle of the camera on that catch, I didn't think it was that great.
Then when I saw the hard copy this morning .... convinced me that he
deserves a big raise for that one.
