The Rose Award goes to Kevin Youkilis of the Boston Red Sox, who went
two-for-five with four RBI and scored two runs in a 12-2 win over the
Oakland Athletics.

Jason Bay hit his first home run with the Red Sox, and Youkilis hit a
pair of two-run homers. Bay drilled a 3-and-1 pitch from Dana Eveland
over the Green Monster, a three-run shot that gave Boston a 5-2 lead
in the first inning.
