Childress also has an option every year. He can go make his money for a
year or two and play in more than one tournament, then check out interest
again in the nba or return if he hates it in Italy.
Might just be a lot more fun being a big frog in a small pond.

Lebron just said he'd take $50M to go to Europe.
Though really, that sounds more like a challenge than him being
serious about going to Europe.

Look at Becham and his quarter billion to go to the USA 'minor leagues'...
If he really did get such an offer...one of LBJs stated goals is to be a
billionaire... remember a 50 million offer over there would likely be net
after taxes plus perks so maybe 4 times the net of a 20 mil max contract
here.

I wonder how much more market he'd have in Europe. I'd imagine he'd
have the 50M plus endless commercials and billboards plastered
everywhere. Crazy.
