The Rose Award goes to Nate McLouth of the Pittsburgh Pirates, who
went one-for-three with three RBI and scored two runs in a 9-1 win
over the San Diego Padres.

Yoslan Herrera pitched six shutout innings for his first major league
win, and the Pirates got consecutive home runs by Jason Bay and Xavier
Nady. McLouth also homered.
