Almost every trade rumor and possible trade scenario involves Billups
and the point guard postion. I guess Joe saw what I saw in the play
offs, Billups a bust!

Rumors were settled when Baron Davis signed with The Clippers. Yet
other rumors have surface involving Billups in three way trade talks. I
guess Campy is out of the equation.
Denver can't compete this season, good time to lure away Iverson for
Billups.

Also any paying attention better make note of Phil' who's just thrown
their hat in the rink for a contender..

This post makes so little sense that my head actually hurts from having
tried to piece it together.

Dumars already "just said no" to that.

Denver countered with an offer of Allen Iverson or a package built around
Marcus Camby, but the Pistons are only interested in Anthony.

Warkentien said the Nuggets weren't looking to trade Anthony at that time,
and asked if Dumars would be interested in Marcus Camby or Allen Iverson.
Dumars said no. If the Nuggets wanted Billups, then they were going to have
to give up Anthony.

NO doesn't mean NO!

Ask yourself, Denver is obviously interested in getting their native son
home before his skills erode.

Joe can't take Carmillo it would be admitting he made a mistake some
years ago in not drafting him in the first place. Nor can Anthony play
in the East, he can't play defense!

We can't give up Billups without retaining a great guard to fill those
shoes. Iverson fills not only that bill but also gives Detroit a
superstar and elevates us beyond the blue collar portrait we've painted
for years...

Denver doesn't appear commited to winning a championship in Allen's
short career span, he needs to get out of there! Chauncy's career clock
is ticking as well, this trade needs to happen, and it's benifitting to
both parties.

Apparently it does. Joe was only interested in Mello.
They are not trading Billups and Prince (which denver demanded) for a 22
mil ending contract of an ending career.

Joe has been saying no to your dumb ideas a long time....
