Well, BB has finally traded Blanton to the Philly's--
For three prospects---2nd baseman Adrian Cardenas, pitcher Josh Outman and
outfielder Matthew Spencer.
Of course, they are all minor leaguers.
Shall I say--long 2nd half of the season.

Too bad we can't field like 40 players every game, and send three hitters up

Figures, we can't trade him for an immediate need...like a 1st or 3rd
baseman who can hit above the Mendoza line(.250).We're still stuck with
2 minor league players at the corners.So who takes his place in the
rotation?I know Devine is on the DL.Casilla as a starter until Devine
comes off the DL....that would be my guess.

FYI. The Mendoza Line is a .200 batting average.
