So with Posey now signing with New Orleans, what free agents do you see
the Celts going after?

Danny stated that he is not going to sign any other bigs so that leaves 2's,
3's and maybe a small 4.

With Posey gone there may not be another free agent Danny would be willing
to give the full mid-level to, so unless Boston tries to sign Ryan Gomes I
look for Danny to split the mid-level.

Eddie House would like to come back but it will take more than the veteran
minimum to sign him.

Danny could now split the mid-level between Eddie House and a veteran point
guard. That I believe would bring the roster to 16 including the rookies, so
Tony Allen may not be back.

Tyrone Lue at PG. Remember two out of the three rooks are probably
headed to Europe. I can't see Gomes being cheap enough to fit in the
plans, although if Lue will sign for the minimum there's some potential
there.

Or not, since he just signed with the Bucks for 2.5 mill a year.

Huh, I'm starting to worry a bit.

Just like I didn't care about losing out on Maggette, I'm not sad at losing
out at Lue. Sorry to see Posey go, but Danny is doing the right thing by
the Celtics. I just heard on 'EEI that with Posey signing with NO, Tony
Allen is a good shot to be back.

I'm just bummed that the C's had no shot at Camby. His contract was too big
to make any deal work.

just for a year or two???
