And they almost did come close. AJ's performance today was the type
that he is capable of if he decides to come to every game with the
same intensity that Roy does every pitch.

A very good accomplishment, considering how far they were from .500
when he made that statement. 1 win off of 500 is not too bad... way to
go Jays, especially without Wells and Rios for this past series
against the Yanks.

If AJ can keep it going, Roy continues to do what he does, the bullpen
remains strong, and the team produces the offense that it should
(Rollen gets back into form) then this team is capable of finishing a
very respectable 3rd in a very difficult division, setting the stage
for perhaps a great season next year.
