The Brewers are foolish IMO. Giving up 4 top prospects for a 1/2 year
rental who is likely to be a 15 win .500 pitcher.
I have to give GM Matt Silverman big props here.

At this time no one really knows if Sabathia will be a half year
rental or will the Brewers try and resign him after the season is
over. COnsidering that about 10% of the population is left handed,
qulaity left handed pitching is a premium. They command top dollar
even if they are average.

Our manager, Bud Black, was a left handed starter back in the day. He
was a .500 career pitcher, and got a big bucks contract, mostly
because he was a left hander.
