My waverunner has started hesitating. It will run near 100% power and
then cut out, then come back up and cut out again. Sometimes drops to
50% power come back to 80, back to 60 up to 90 and so on. A slight
turn to the right brings it back near a 100% and a slight turn to the
left drops it. Hard turns to either side drop it down. I have new
plugs, fuel filters, cleaned the carburetor, etc. Any ideas are
appreciated.

My '01 XLT 1200 had a similar problem. It would mostly occur after hot soak
periods of less than 1 hour. It was cured by replacing the 2-way valve at a
cost of $10.
