It rains alot here and I am thinking of drilling an 1/8" hole so the water
drains into the hull and then out the back of the drain plugs. When I am in
the water running the bilge can handle any small amount of water that drains
from the footwell into the hull. What do ya think???

Buy a cover instead.

I actually have a cover that is only a few years old which I use but water
still filters through and stagnates in the footwell areas. My gut tells me
that drilling a hole and using a small plug when in use is not a good idea,
but I wanted to get some feedback none the less. Thanks.

I guess in that situation I would crank the front end up just past level and
let the water drain out the back. I may be assuming too much here. My
Waverunner XLT 1200 has open wells to the rear. I'm not sure about yours.

Do not drill holes in your footwells, you want to keep your hull as dry as
possible. Water does not need any more access points.
Elevate the front of your Jetski like the rest of us.
