Rodgers is getting a bit too big for his britches now.. thinking that
Brett Favre is gone forever now, and feeling kind of cocky after his
small bit of success in the game against the dallas cowboys after
favre was put out by that wonderful, clean, open field tackle by nate
jones.

don't worry Rodgers... you are very soon to learn that it is not so
easy to be a quaterback in the NFL, after all.

Rodgers was a great college quarterback and barring injury will be great in
the pros

So was Rex Grossman. Didn't he finish 2nd in the Heisman voting
as a sophomore?

I'm hoping that the Packers make Favre a free agent and he signs
with the Bears.

Yes sir. Runner-up in 2001.

There's no doubt he has *some* talent left, but do you really see him
playing for any other team besides GB?

Hey, anybody remember that Brett was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons?

I dunno, I would guess the fans of the Packers would have a
better idea of the type of person that Brett is. Is he the kind
of guy that if the Pack told him that they didn't want him to
play in Green Bay this season that he would decide to show them
that they made a huge mistake by signing to play with a
divisional rival? If it were me, no doubt I'd be checking with
Detroit, Chicago and Minnesota to see if those teams would
welcome a future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Yep. That means Atlanta probably can't even think about trading for him.
It would never fly.

Maybe but I have doubts he wants to play for anyone else. Any team that
would have him is shit.

The Packers still own the rights to Favre. The only way Favre can go to a
division rival is if the Packers release him outright. I tend to think that
Ted Thompson would trade Favre for a 7th rounder to a team in the AFC
(Kansas City?) to avoid having Favre be with a division rival.

Frank:

I'm sure you are aware that Favre has final say in signing elsewhere.

Having said that, I ask: Why would Favre sign with the Bears, at his
age, and the Bears going forward with a young, unproven line for protection?
