EAGLE RIVER - For the 34th straight year the Eagle River
Figure Skating Club is hosting a two week school at the
historic Dome where kids off all ages can fine tune their
skills.

Twelve Skating instructors from all over the United
States and Canada are sharing their knowledge of figure
skating during the two week program.

University of Delaware and National Coach Marcie Kierpiec
is back in Eagle for the 20th time and says its great to
see all of the skaters develop.

"The best part of coming to this camp is the fact that
these kids up here are so eager to learn." says National
Coach Marcie Kierpiec. "They're here just soaking up
everything we are telling them in every lesson."
Says National Coach Gary Irving-"There's a phenomenal
talent pool here and the kids are very anxious.
Unfortunately they only skate a limited amount of time.
Just by seeing the talent and the skating ability is
something."

The 70 skaters at the school will have their skills
tested Saturday during the United States Figure Skating
International test session at the Eagle River Ice Arena.
