If you lived in Seattle during the glory years of watching Sonics
games complete with the exciting commentary of Kevin Calabro and
spectacular feats of athletic wonder featuring Gary Payton and Shawn
Kemp, the thought of the Sonics leaving town is too horrifying to
contemplate. Those salad days of Sonics teams in the 1990s left
indelible memories on my psyche. We have got to keep the Sonics in
Seattle by any means necessary.

I care! Problem is I don't have the resources to keep them here
against Gay Bennetts wishes.

I was going to write about how liberal polititians and their despise for
millionaire owners and their need for corporate welfare caused this whole
mess but fuck it. It's over done finite last call The Sonics have left the
building. Five years from yesterday, Clay Bennett will probably
simultaneously announce having made Kevin Durrant the highest paid athlete
ever and that the deadline for payment to the City of Seattle has expired
because they never even attempted to fund an NBA ready venue for a new team.
If you believe otherwise, then explain why LA doesn't have an NFL team
