It was deliberate from my point of view. It was a frustration swing... and
while he may have wished he could have taken it back just miliseconds
afterwards, it is obvious he brought his arm back up for a cheap shot.

I think what's worse than the actual slap is how the whole Wizard team
denies what truly occurred. I see no reason why they just couldn't be
silent on the occurrence. However, in addition to being losers, they also
established that they have no class.

sorry, i'll be a lifelong cleveland fan, but if the situation was
reversed, i'm sure there'd be a significant percentage of cleveland
fans showing the same lack of class - they're the same ones who pissed
off MJ (to the cavalier's detriment)

from:
http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1009034/5/index.htm

"Because I hated Cleveland," he said, almost snarling. "I went to the
hole in the first quarter, and Hot Rod Williams knocked my feet out,
and I landed on my tailbone. I could have been really hurt, and I hear
the crowd cheering, yelling, 'Yeah! Yeah!' " Jordan's voice dropped
into a fierce whisper: Boy that f——— burned me!"

i'm sure i can find a reference if i need to, but IIRC indians "fans"
heckled david wells in the bullpen about his mother (who had recently
passed away). *that* is clearly crossing the line in MY book.

of course, you won't see this in the fair weather laker fans (speaking
as someone who's lived in s.cal for almost 20 years now) - kobe
hasn't accomplished squat since shaq left - and is only wining now
because of gasol.
