For those of you who currently race, or who have raced....
If your team decided that all members are to where the same style suit,
would you?
Would it make a difference what style?
Would it make a difference if they would pay for it, or if you had to?
....this is after thinking about the body suit post.

I guess I should put my 2 cents in....

Depends on the suit style

As long as it is a decent price, I would not care too much

If I had pay for it, and it was one of the new ones at $500, I would not get
it.

I bet it would depend on (1) the importance of the race and (2) how
close you were to your competition.

I would obviously be more congenial toward it if the style they chose
was the style I would have chosen.
If they chose a different style than I would have chosen, my main
questions would be: (a) whether I thought I would perform as well
wearing the style of suit they chose rather than the style I chose, and
(b) whether the style they chose was significantly more expensive than
the style I would have chosen.

If the suits were being paid for by a sponsor, then point b in the
previous question wouldn't matter much.

Even if I were fast enough to be selected for such a team (big if!), I
wouldn't join any team which insisted on my wearing a body suit. It is
cheating.

I just race with a plain black practise suit. It serves me fine. Alot
of the people in the races I'm in wear fancy competition suits. As for
if all my team-mates decided to buy the same suit? They already do, I
just chose to buy suits when I need them.
And yes if they payed for it, it'd be a "SWEET!" moment, but still, if
I had to pay for it, nah. xD
