The Rose Award goes to Rich Aurilia of the San Francisco Giants, who
went three-for-five with five RBI and scored one run in a 11-1 win
over the Oakland Athletics.

Aurilia homered and matched his career high with the five RBI to help
the Giants get their first series win in the Bay Area rivalry in two
years.

He has, being morally superior to Mr. Rose, rejected your award. Please
remove his name from your rolls.
