My rule is to give a player the guaranteed three year term of their
rookie contract before calling bust.
You hear that Bargs? You got one season left buddy!

Yea, at least with Bargs there's talk of "regression". With Morrison,
they are still waiting for.. umm.. progression?

My take on it is I think with AB he showed great promised for a
extended period of time in his 1st season and last year was a lot of
adjustments he had to make on the fly.
Morrison was just a good college player in a bad draft year. I
remember in this same NG people were talking about Morrison going
number 1 or the Raptors trading down to get him. You take one look at
the dude and you know there isn't anything great about him. In the
games I have seen the Bobcats play they try to make him the scorer on
the team and keep feeding him the ball like the Raptors did with Vince
but Morrison doesn't do anything that others like Antony Parker or
Matt Bonner couldn't do. In other words as it stands Morrison on his
best day is like any other dime a dozen player.
If I was Bryan C and had to chose between the 2 I would take Bargs
over Morrison.

Yea.. I don't think there's any doubt now that Morrison is a complete
bust. He was an unathletic, slow defending scorer. There's a whole
lot of these types in the D-League.
What it really comes down to, these days, is Bargs vs Aldridge.

I remember during that draft that Stephen A Smith said Tyrus Thomas is
the best player in the draft. I have no idea waht double T is doing
right now but he must be doing better then Morrison. Either Morrison
was way over rated or he just wasn't krunk enough to begin with.
I think at worst Andrea is a 6th man that is good for 9-11 ppg on a
average night.
