Sports Illustrated speculated yesterday on the possibility of the
Bulls trading Hinrich AND Gordon for Richard Hamilton. I laughed out
loud.

Really? Isn't Rip exactly the kind of guard we've been after? It seems a
slightly unbalanced trade, but I guess Hinrich's contract is a headache.

On the other hand, this is my kind of insanity (put your coffee down
before reading):

Dwyane Wade says he keeps hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors
involving the Bulls and Miami Heat. Would the Bulls give up the No. 1
draft position to the Heat in exchange for Wade and the No. 2 overall
selection? Or some combination of other players and picks? -- Chicago
Tribune

No, you don't pause for that "Er". The only way Miami makes that
offer is to taunt us by revoking it, a la Brand/Chandler in BPL. To
foil them, you must hit the accept trade button without delay. :-)

He's still doing Trib stuff, and yeah, IIRC this was one of his. (But let us
dream Riz, let us dream!)

Got me.

I get my Bulls news from the Chi Trib's front page (which still has Smith's
photo prominent) and Yahoo, so I must've missed The End. Oh well ;)

Y'know, I followed the link and it showed someone else's pic and
name. I'm too lazy to do it again. Obviously a ridiculous rumor,
like most of them on the SI site.
