I wouldn't be surprised to see Ken Macha become the next manager of the
Mariners. From the sounds of things, the players in that clubhouse HATE
each other, and former manager John McLaren did nothing to ride herd on
them.

Macha's a hard-ass. I think that, if given another managing job, he would
crack the whip. I think that's what Mariner management desired.

The Mariners are deeply envious of the A's. Their fans constantly cry "Why
can't we do it like the A's do"? Well, maybe they can't, but getting Macha
into blue and white might help.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him helm the M's.
