Bill Laimbeer would be the ideal coach for the 08-09 Pistons. Bill's
paid his dues, overcome adversity, shown his ability on more than one
occassion to be a WINNER! He was successful in not only winning one
title in the league but two in succession. Then he demonstrates his
coaching ability by hooking up some WNBA players and winning not one but
two titles again!!! This guy commands respect and is a proven veteran
of the game that's in touch with what's happening. AND he's dedicated
to Detroit, having turned down an interview in New York.

What's Curry done? Nothing, he didn't even start when we won the 04
championship.
He was nothing more than a slightly better than average defensive player
for a short season in the league. He is part of the failure that has
happened the last two seasons....He'll take us no where!

Have they officially given Curry the head job? They could swap, which
would be a promotion for both coaches.

NO, job's still open. IN fact, more interesting is that Doug Collins
turned down a head coaching job with the Bulls yesterday. Could he be
thinking or Joe be thinking Collins would fit here?
