IMO, they are highly overrated compared to the great teams in NBA
history, however, they did pull it out in a weak eastern conference.
I don't like either team that is in the finals - and I especially
don't like Kobe - but, I don't think that they will beat the Lakers.
Kobe is just too damn good, and PJ has a LOT of PO experience with a
very similar player.

Look what they have done without one superstar. They have overachieved in my
book.
Not a long list for championships won by teams with only one likely future
HOF player and only a handful of those had none... counting the pistons 2004
win. Seattle '78 Dennis Johnson , Philly Warriors with Paul Arizin and Neil
Johnston...others?
While teams with two HOF players have come up short like the 90s Jazz...

And they made the Shaq/Kobe Lakers look like blundering ididots! Should have
been a sweep but the Lakers got lucky.

They've got a lot of weaknesses to be sure, and they're a team that has
always required the gears to be meshed. It's a credit to them that they
have been able to get them to work together so well so often.
I'd hate to see radical changes made unless they get good solid value in
exchange, and I think Dumars is smart enough to pick his spots. As
Wallace, Billups, Hamilton and McDyess age, I'm pretty comfortable with
Stuckey, Maxiell, Johnson and Afflalo as the foundation of a new generation
to take their place. If anything, I'd prefer that Dumars lets older guys
go rather than stretch to pick up a risky high paid guy. Given his history
with dealing Stackhouse and letting Ben Wallace go, I think that's the path
he'll take.

Lets start with blowing a 10 point lead in 4th quarter in about 3
minutes. Scoring 13 points in 4th quarter in biggest game of the year
that happened to be at home. If people want to hang on to 6 straight
Eastern conference finals have a good time but this group of guys should
have won more then they did.

You don't play in 6 conference finals by being over rated or
imcompetent. And they'll most likely be back next season as well.
Congrats to the Celitics. They played tough and deserved the win. I
think they'll do the same to the Lakers in 6.

BTW, I don't think they will be back next season, the Magic will.

I'm very confident the Pistons will be back in the finals next season
and it could very well be against the Magic. However, for that to
happen, the Magic need to improve their guard play and their bench and
they'll need to at least be better than the Cavs and/or Celtics to get
a higher seeding.
