When I hit the start button i hear a click noise from the box the
battery cables goes into,the battery is ok.

This symptom is most always one (or more) of these:

Weak Battery (how do you know it's good?)
Poor electrical connection
Bad start relay (if it has one separate from the starter)
Bad starter.

What happens when you take an auto type jumper cable and (using only
one cable) jumper from the positive connection on the starter to the
positive terminal on the battery?
