View Full Version : Yao's injury is Portland's opportunity

So it is now 3 teams for the last two spots with GS, Denver,
Portland. I just don't see Houston holding the advantage and expect
them to completely tank. You lose the best Center in the conference
and you are history. PDX needs to survive the injuries and make a
late run much like what GSW did last season. But I think they can
catch Denver and Houston if they get healthy.

They had a winning record last year when Yao was out about 30 games IIRC.

Of course, I just do not think it automacticly puts them into the lottery,
far from it.
