With 5 seconds remaining in the game and the Sonics clinging to a 1
point lead, the only intelligent strategy was a quick double team and
force the ball out of the hands of a red hot Kobe. Kobe is the one guy
you do not allow to beat you, Force one of the 4 other guys to assume
the pressure of winning the game. Lo and behold, PJ Carlesimo chose to
leave Jeff Green out on an island with Kobe taking the last shot. The
result was inevitable. Now I understand why Latrell Sprewell strangled
PJ.
