I am a Giants fan, and they ended up being more than I thought they
would be at the start of the season. I had them pegged at going 6-10
or 7-9 actually.

At halftime of week 2, I told my dad, "This looks like a 4-12 team, but I
just can't figure out which 4 teams they'll beat."
I've never been so happy to be so wrong in my life.

I have had a bunch of personal stuff (like job hunting and working to
get a business off the ground). With the season being the way it had
been, and as bad of a start as they had, I kind of tabled the
following of the team to a serious extent. It started with myself
missing the draft and not even knowing who they took. I also fell
into the Knicks vortex (I regularly read a web forum for Knicks
talk). My reasoning of Usenet had mainly been for politics and
videogames.
After the Giants had their poor start, I figured it was best for me to
keep my mouth shut. Also, I use google as my newsreader (saves
clutter on my hard drive, can be done anywhere, and is fast), so if I
don't have Giants posts I wrote, I don't visit the newsgroup, which
then results in my dropping out and not being here.
