Default Chick Evans postage stamp

Dear Golfing Friend:
I have petitioned the United States Postal Service to issue a postage stamp
honoring Charles "Chick" Evans. I believe the request has a good chance.
Chick was not only a great golf pioneer but an outstanding humanitarian as
well.
www.chickevensstamp.com is my website. It is a quick read and explains how
you can support our effort. We need only your voice--not money--to succeed!
Thanks for your help,
R.E. Lynch

Why not just use the "create your own stamp" availability and create one
of chick evans?

Mr. Lynch...

Was interested in your project but, the URL you gave would not work...
finally realized what the problem was... you misspelled "Evans."

Correct that and, hopefully, you'll get a lot more activity... you'll
certainly get mine.

They were going to make a stamp for The Chopra, but The Chopra cannot
be licked.

I just ordered some of the new "Girls of Elliot Spitzer" stamps.
They're 41 cents each, but if you want to lick them they're 2000
bucks.

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.
Enjoy the veal.

Because such would not be an honor. It would be akin to you printing and
distributing hand bills with your grand father's photo. Or for that matter,
you buying vanity stamps of your grand father.
