Brilliant marketing campaign there, Mr. Test. F spam. -- wood |

Brilliant marketing campaign there, > Mr. Test. > > F spam. > It's annoying that so many people have been spamming about this in so many newsgroup (I actively read three football newsgroups, and have seen multiple posts for this in each of them). However, I would say that if you enjoy fantasy football, you might actually want to give this game a try. It's somewhat enjoyable. The reason he keeps spamming is that in order to run a team, you need to have a certain number of points, and you get x number per every referral. You can either pay like $8 to get enough points, or get a lot of referrals. Me, I signed on (not using any spammer's referral code), emailed a few friends, when I didn't get enough points, paid the $8. Now I seem to have accrued enough to have bought the team without paying, but whatever. It's eight bucks. So I do actually recommend the game, the guys running it seem to be decent people, and they are certainly investing a lot in it. It's pretty neat, because you can pull up a play by play and actually watch the x's and o's dance around. Just my personal feeling. Oh, and if anyone does sign up, feel free to send me a PM on there, same name, hestiansun, and I'll see about adding you onto my team. I'm not sure how it is for new players right now, I think they dump you into a CPU team. For a while they had more players than teams, and then they had too many teams--they're only in the second season of running this, so still working out some kinks. D. |
