It will be interesting to see what happens when Willis comes of the DL.
I can't imagine sending Galarraga down to Toledo. I imagine he will go to the bullpen until one of the starters stinks it up one time too many. (Rogers? Willis?) |

(Rogers? Willis?) if he is a starter, and I think he is, then he will go back to Toledo so he can continue to pitch |

I'm not saying that he WON'T be going back to Toledo, but, not be in Tigers' management, I can't say with any authority what's going to happen. |

munkeyfarm only does two things here. insult skippy, and blow hot air. I'm not saying that he WON'T be going back to Toledo, but, not be in Tigers' management, I can't say with any authority what's going to happen. ================================== skippy deserves the insults and scorn in these parts...this is a newsgroup specific to detroit tigers baseball and a blind man could tell that he rarely watches any of their games it came out in the press today that the kid is guaranteed at least a couple more starts...well, no shit!...i'm still a long way from going as far as to call him our #1 starter, but it's obvious that he's currently our BEST option...the thought of a team starved for quality outings sending down their best option at any given time is preposterous...this is not a clete thomas situation where it was clear from the start that he was only holding down a spot until the clear-cut better incumbent player came back...again, i'm by no means annointing him, and i realize his second and third trips around the league will likely expose his true worth...look no further than the '06 version of zack minor that was undefeated for a key stretch in the middle of the season when we first brought him up...looking back at how great people thought he was gonna be at the time is hilarious...plus, we're dealing with a pitcher the RANGERS of all teams wanted no part of...they've only been looking for quality pitchers for the last 30+ years semi-related: we need to put pitching coach chuck hernandez on the chopping block...bondo, JV and nate have all regressed at too young of an age...he should be the first person accountable, especially when you look at the $$$ tied up in these still promising arms |
