Default Damn that's cold, Game 3 finds Pistons behind.

One can't blame Flip for this one, the blame game is on Billups and
Wallace.

Detroit fell into false sense of security after their victory of game
two. What they should have realized is that Phili' had got just what
they wanted already, one win in Detroit. That was the reason for their
poor effort in game two.
Look at what happened in game three! Pistons were blown out! They came
in typically thinking they are the best team and need only show up to
the court. Face it, for whatever reason the 76ers match up well against
us. But foremost they realize it is the playoffs!!!!

I don't blame Saunders one bit for anything that has happened thus far
in this series. Further, it is time that certain members of this
starting line up be traded. Prince and Rip are the only untouchables.
The mind games entertained by both Wallace and Billups has cost us
enough rings and glory already.

I think the develop the bench thingy went too far in game one. While the
bench is better it was not the time to leave them in and tank the lead in Q2
and let the starters get out of their rhythm.

Honestly I don't have the confidence in the starters that they can get
the job done.

They have a ring and seem content to own only one. I don't see the
urgency, energy and mental toughness that is illustrated by the Spurs,
Lakers and on the East coast Boston.

Billups, Rip, Sheed and Prince just don't show that! And the bench is
kinda leaning on them since the post season has begun. But the bench
isn't hurting this team, it's the lack of dire leadership on the court,
that's why I don't fault Saunders at this point. A coach can plan,
delgate assignments etc...but he can't push a button and make a guy
enter a realm of mental toughness.

So jump off the bandwagon. You won't be the first to jump ship. Better
yet, don't watch them. Fill out your Flip Saunders Fan Club Membership
and send it in.

Maybe you'd be happier if the Pistons just started the bench and gave
Billups, Prince, Hamilton and 'Sheed bench minutes? Trade them all for
a bag of balls and a few towels? Turn the Pistons into a lottery team?
Since they aren't hungry enough, they can't win? It's about the
stupidest thing I've ever read from you and you've had some REALLY
stupid posts!

Put your foot back in your mouth now. Billups, Rip, Sheed, Prince,
everyone, came out in the second half on Sunday and enforced their
will on Philly. Don't tell me they lack leadership on the court. It
was there Sunday. True, it is not always there, but they have it. And
besides, Rip and Prince aren't the problem at all. First, they're not
really leaders. That would be either Chuncey or Sheed. Secondly, if
not for the shooting of Rip and Prince on Friday, the loss would have
been more lopsided than it was. Someday, maybe you'll actually figure
out how this game works.

No, Webbie will be quiet until the Pistons lose another game. He's
either a closet Piston hater or just likes to moan and bitch.

Great comeback last night. It looked like we were going to go down 3
games to 1, but now it's Philly who has to be shaking their heads.
Pistons win Tuesday night and the Sixers will fold. They were playing
way over their heads and even the media in Philly knew it.

I say keep Maxiell starting and bring McDyess off the bench. The
energy Max gives us starting and the energy McDyess brings us off the
bench could be the difference in later rounds.

sounds like you all are venting in relief being that you've avoided
being down three games to one.

I think you've all lost confidence in the crew as well or at least your
panties were in a bunch for a moment there.

Damn, I told Brian to relax you'd manage to make it two two,,,,,

Even if the Pistons WERE down 3-1, I still think they could win. They
have done it before and against much better teams than Philly.

I was just pointing out your "Chicken Little" attitude.
The sky is falling, the world's coming to an end, just because the
Pistons were down 2-1. And you're amazing Celtics? They just lost a
second game to the 8th seed, a MUCH weaker team than the Sixers.
Boston might as well trade Garnett and fire their coach, using your
logic......
