They were not all that last year though either but it was enough to
win the NL Central. But then there are probably quite a few AAA teams
that could have won the NL Central.

True enough. It will be interesting to see if the division improves at
all this year. It is hard to imagine it getting worse. Having said that,
what has happened to Cleveland? Their play this year, particularly
Sabathia's pitching have been a major surprise. Without a strong year
from Sabathia and Carmona, they are going nowhere.

Too early in the year to say, but I don't think too many here would disagree
that Cleveland and Detroit are underperforming, Kansas city are
overperforming, and both Chicago and Minnesota could still go either way
from their starts.
