I'm an early riser anyway. I'm up around 6 every morning. It's nice
to be able to watch a game at that time, and then have all day to discuss it, and then be able to watch or do whatever I want at night. I could get used to this being a regular thing! -Bismo. |

I love the west coast trips. I get to watch them in bed with my wife peacefully sleeping and not complaining that I'm watching them in some other room. |

Okay, forget what I said. I only like 6 AM games when we win! Now I gotta spend the next 14 hours thinking about this stinking loss :-) -Bismo. |

Ever since we moved in, the gf has grown to dislike baseball (and was a fan before) due to me watching just about every game. I think she'd prefer it if I was in the other room ![]() The only time I really don't like the late starts is if I'm at a bar for some reason (whether it simply is that I was going to be there anyways, or if I was explicitly going out to watch the game w/ some friends (that's more playoffs though)), I tend to be pretty rocked by the time the game starts, and w/ the 1am-2am closing times of most bars it is no guarantee that you won't miss the end. |

He's 2+ now and got into basketball (college) so hopefully baseball will hold his interest and she'll flat out be out-numbered. > The only time I really don't like the late starts is if I'm at a bar > for some reason (whether it simply is that I was going to be there > anyways, > or if I was explicitly going out to watch the game w/ some friends (that's > more playoffs though)), I tend to be pretty rocked by the time the game > starts, and w/ the 1am-2am closing times of most bars it is no guarantee > that you won't miss the end. Yeah, I don't go out much to watch games anymore for that reason. |
