Is KG a hall of famer? If he retired at the end of this season, did he
have a good enough career to make the basketball HOF? When KG finally
does decide to retire from the court will he even be concidered for the
HOF?

If Paul Pierce makes it, KG should to. And i've listen to all the
experts say PP is having a HOF career, only thing holding him back would
be the ring.

Garnett's more of a shoo-in than Pierce. I dither a lot on whether or not
Pierce should make it. Ask me again in three years.

I think you have their relative values backwards. KG is a legit MVP
candidate, former MVP, and all around amazing star/stud/impact player.
Pierce is a great player. HOF worthy? I would say no unless they're really
hard up one year. KG? Absolutely, and no, he doesn't need a ring to get
there.

He deserves the MVP. Getting Defensive Player of the Year means he probably
didn't get the MVP. If he doesn't, I hope it goes to the more worthy Chris
Paul than Kobe.

BUT...KG does deserve the MVP this year.

KG is a lock for HOF with our without a ring. His numbers and
accolades speak for themselves.

Paul Pierce doesn't have quite the high profile that Garnett has. But
if he gets at least one ring (hopefully more), I think he's an
undeniable HOF as well. If he has even 5 more decent seasons, he'll be
Boston's #2 all time scorer with a legit chance of being #1, as well
as top 5 in assists and top 10 in rebounds. That puts him in the same
arena as a lot of HOF'ers, and the team success will put him over the
top.

If Dennis Johnson can't get in, there is no way Pierce should be there.

Agreed. If you ever caught him during a postgame press conference, he
seems to take "soft-spoken" to a whole other level. Sometimes I can't
even hear what he says because his voice is so low. But on the court
KG is an ANIMAL! That's what they mean when they say "He left it all
out on the floor."
