Default Bench play, especially shooting, was weak...

....and it was needed as the age started to show a little against the
youthful Hawks. They got to a lot of loose balls and long rebounds late in
the game.
Powe hit one layup and missed the rest of his shots.
Cassell and House threw up some absolute clankers.
And even though Posey hit some wide open threes, his play on defense and
some poor shot selections offset those quickly.

I definitely agree with the suggestion that TA needs to play and be assigned
to Johnson.
If nothing else, the aggresive D might wear him down a little, and the six
fouls TA would have to give and subsequent foul shots are better than open
threes.

Johnson was not the problem. He's a good player and is really starting to
make his way in the league, but he is not the offensive juggernaut we made
him into last game. Make him a jumpshooter. Make the whole Hawk team a
jumpshooting team. Need to rebound better and defend inside better. Need
to stop the Pitino-esque full court trap that does nothing except get our
older players tired faster and pick up cheap fouls. Then pound the f*cking
ball into KG until the series is over. Make them triple his ass and leave
Ray and Paul to bang home the open jumpers.

No, Joe Johnson was not the problem. The problem was a complete and total
break from fundamental basketball.

Well, yeah, better fundamentals and work it to KG on the block.
And agreed, the Hawks as a team shot a helluva a lot better in ATL than they
did in Boston.
But you gotta correct what happened with JJ. He was either getting open
looks or breaking down the defense for short runners most of three quarters
in game 4.
If he's allowed to keep em in the game, with their youth they can make some
breaks for themselves late.

He is when he's playing at home. He averaged almost 25 per game on
his home court. We didn't make him into anything. We just caught him
on the high side of his average. Funny thing about averages though...
