They are playing the game the way they need to. Control the tempo, take
care of the little things, play a solid fundamental team. Force the young Hawks to play a way they're not ready to play. This looks like the C's team that dominated the regular season. Let's hope that Game 4 was the wake up call. The second half will give us a hint. 24 more minutes tonight, 48 more in Game 6. |

This may make it more difficult for the C's to sign him come the summer. Were you at the game texting this message? Or, did you watch the game elsewhere? |

Unless someone else really wants TA, and swoops in with a REAL BIG OFFER (which I do not see happening), it's really going to be a matter of if the C's want to keep him. I think they do. > I'd like to keep TA too, but it's not a terribly big deal if he goes > elsewhere. JK...Seeing as how he is the teams best perimeter defender (being able to cover some 1's, pretty much all 2's and a lot of 3's), if offensively gifted WHEN HE IS HEALTHY, is pretty good insurance should either PP or RA get hurt, and just entering the prime of his career, it would be a problem if he left. Not Earth shattering, but a problem. >>Were you at the game texting this message? Or, did you watch the game >>elsewhere? Charlie...I was at home. I'm...*ahem*..."distributing the opportunity to see the C's in the playoffs" until the ECF and the Finals. Such is my faith that they'll get there. |

Not Earth shattering, but a problem. Yes, a problem. But not one that couldn't be addressed elsewhere if necessary. |

Tony definitely has a place guarding JJ in this series, but man he caused a 5-6 point swing with knuckleheaded plays, airballing an illadvised three and fouling JJ on the 3 right afterwards. Soon after that I thought he chucked a place neatly out of bounds like used to be his trademark, but I was surprised to see that the Hawks had deflected it?? A lot of this has got to be rust though. Still, I won't get that worked up whether he stays or goes this summer. |
