Either my news service blows (GigaNews), or we've sunk to the point where
even a 6-1 start isn't worth talking about ![]() |

There's no other explanation. Next month, or next week, or maybe tomorrow, we will wake up and discover that we once again have control of out TV sets - Aubrey Huff will be batting .237 and the Sox and Yanks will be on a tear. Enjoy it while it lasts!!! Cheers, Mitch Edelman |

Normally, the season started with the hammer already in the fallen state. ![]() Reading some of the interviews with the players, I'm seeing such sentiments as "happy" and "having fun" and "wasn't at all like this last year". I've long been an advocate of bringing in new, young blood into this team, glad to see that at least it has started out well. What do you think the chances are of this team going >.500? |

Baiting Hageman is like taunting the dynamite monkey, hardly worth the effort. > > ![]() > >> Next month, or next week, or maybe tomorrow, we will wake up and >> discover that we once again have control of out TV sets - Aubrey Huff >> will be batting .237 and the Sox and Yanks will be on a tear.
