Team looking to bring up a bullpen arm for the weekend, then activate
Glavien for a start Tuesday: http://www.ajc.com/braves/content/sports/braves/stories/2008/04/24/gonzalez_0424.html Also, Infante played a rehab game, and Gonzalez had an extended spring training outing. Colin |

Hampton's close too. If they get Gonzalez and Soriano back, this pen can be good. Acosta and Campillo have built a solid bridge to get to Sori and Gonzo, along with Boyer. Get starters who can go into the 7th with a chance to win, combined with this offense, and you have a good shot. s/ |

I'm surprised at Gonzalez coming back so relatively soon from teh kind of surgery he had. The Braves, I suppose, have nothing to lose in rushing him, since he's gone after this year anyway, but I'll be surprised if he's effective for a while. Colin |
